A Colchester heating, gas and plumbing company wanted a professional site, and the freedom to keep it fresh without calling a developer.
The brief
Accredited Heating Services is a family-run plumbing, gas and oil business in Colchester. They wanted a trustworthy site that explains what they do clearly, and they wanted their own team to be able to keep it up to date without waiting on anyone.

The details that make it work
A clear page for every service
Gas heating and appliances, oil heating, heating oil cleaning, plumbing and powerflush each get their own page, with plain explanations of the warning signs to look for and why the work matters. Customers can find out whether it is what they need before they pick up the phone.
A projects gallery their team keeps growing
A Pictures and Projects page of before-and-after photos, from oil tank cleans to bathroom upgrades and shower installs. Because the site is built to be edited, the team add new jobs themselves, which keeps it fresh and shows real work.
Easy to get in touch
A contact form, phone number and address, plus a Contact Us button repeated down the page. A banner at the top links customers to a gas safety check, so the most useful action is always one click away.
Optimised for mobile
People looking for a local heating firm are often on their phone, so the site reads cleanly on a small screen: a tidy menu, buttons that are easy to tap and photos that fit the screen.
Handover, not dependence
Once the framework was built, the site became theirs to run. Their team add pages, photos and updates without waiting on me, and they can come back to me whenever they want something bigger.
